Big Snowman Pattern

With winter weather on the way, snowman are going to begin popping up in every yard! So why not bring one into your home too (minus the mess!) This snowman works up quickly and stands roughly 8 inches tall when complete.

Yarn: Red Heart Super Saver in White, Black, Orange and Blue!

Round 2: Inc x6 (12)

Round 3: (Inc, sc 1)x6 (18)

Round 4: (Inc, sc 2)x6 (24)

Round 5: (Inc, sc 3)x6 (30)

Round 6: (Inc, sc 4)x6 (36)

Round 7: (Inc, sc 5)x6 (42)

Round 9-20: sc around (48)

Round 21: (dec, sc 6)x6 (42)

F/O and leave a long tail for sewing. Attach arms between Rounds 20 and 25

Nose:

Round 2-4: sc around (4)

F/O and leave a tail to sew nose between the eyes from Round 9 to Round 11

Hat:

Round 1: MR 6

Round 2: Inc x6 (12)

Round 3: (Inc, sc 1)x6 (18)

Round 4: (Inc, sc 2)x6 (24)

Round 5: BLO, sc around (24)

*Round 6-12: sc around (24)

Round 13: FLO, (Inc, sc 3)x6 (30)

F/O, leave long tail to sew onto the head

*If you want to make a shorter or taller hat, adjust rows here. By doing less rows, your hat will be shorter. If you sc around additional rows, your hat will be taller

Scarf:

Starting Chain: 5

Row 1: *Beginning in 2nd chain from the hook* HDC across (4)

Row 2-?: BLO, HDC across (4)

Make your scarf long enough to wrap around the snowmans neck and still have a small tail. When finished, sew one end of the scarf to the middle of the scarf. You can also just tie the scarf if that's easier for you.
